Still sense of responsibility rules me.

Happy new year! My new year resolutions are as follow:

1. Be even more awesome than last year.

2. Travel.

3. Graduate with GPA of at least 3.5.

With that said, I’m ready to explore 2012 to the maximum!

What should I do? To solve or not to solve?

What she has been doing is asking me how to implement every codes that she found on the Internet in the web pages. I helped and explained to her the same thing for countless times but she just doesn’t have the heart and intention to learn.

I am not there to baby feed her! She has to do her work independently and not depend on me all the times for work done.

The heavy workload has caused me to struggle. With an incapable partner, I am in hell. It’s like getting a death sentence immediately.

I created a miracle yesterday. I developed my own coding for search box on website. I am at a very disadvantage level as there are too many restrictions given:

1. No server and server-side languages.
2. No database.
3. Intranet.
4. No using of third-party software like Google search box.

Thus, it was an impossible task. I searched for such a search box codes for days but to no avail. There is too little resources out there in the Internet. I suggested using google search box, building own server, and more. But all was either rejected or too troublesome.

I felt like giving up because it was really impossible yet I know I have to develop this feature no matter what. If I were to give up, who else can code it? Furthermore, it is the boss who wants the search feature.

I continued my research and I was really grateful when I found an ancient code using XML. I modified the codes and it was working but there were too many bugs so, I had to rewrite my own coding based on my logic, understanding, and more researches in the end. To my amazement, I managed to do it!

I am thankful for being able to develop the search box feature. It is something I never thought I could develop it. I felt so proud of myself.

Also, times like these moments made me cherish my family more. They are the pillars and supports that are there for me forever. Just one request and they will do their best to help you out of your situation. Words can’t express my gratitude towards them. I am sincerely grateful and thankful for all the unconditional help, support, and love from them all the times.

Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Having went through the darkest moments in life, one would feel that all the other obstacles are minor. Thus, luck seems to change for the better.

Without her to bother me, I feel I can really work well and produce my works fast. I met the deadlines for every day. That’s really good for me!

I redo almost everything and improved on the user interface of the web pages by implementing the look and feel of the intranet portal to those web pages.

My assistant OIC mentioned that I can really sell my skills by developing and programming websites and portals for other organizations after this project. She is willing to prove my capabilities. I felt good and relieved upon hearing the compliment. :D
